Our Work
The nature of our engagements means we cannot always describe them in detail. The examples below illustrate the type of problems we help institutions solve and the value we help them create.
An investigation team was managing a large-scale financial crime matter involving multiple entities, jurisdictions, and years of transactional activity. Investigators were working across disconnected spreadsheets and document sets, making it difficult to establish clear financial flows, identify key counterparties, or prepare structured outputs for legal proceedings. Senior leadership lacked reliable visibility into the investigation's progress and evidential strength.
KONVRG worked with the investigation team to design a structured analytical framework for organising and reviewing the available financial evidence. We developed a consistent methodology for classifying transactions, tracing the flow of funds between entities, and identifying patterns of interest. We produced structured case-pack outputs that could be used directly in legal and referral processes, and designed a progress-reporting model that gave leadership clear oversight of evidentiary coverage and investigative gaps.
The investigation team was able to present a coherent and well-structured financial picture across a complex multi-entity matter. Legal teams had access to organised, reviewable evidence. Leadership had reliable visibility into the investigation for the first time. The analytical approach developed during the engagement was subsequently adopted as a repeatable methodology for future investigations within the institution.
A client needed to coordinate compliance activity across a large, fragmented landscape of regulated entities, multiple government departments, and private sector participants. Roles and responsibilities were unclear. Data was submitted inconsistently and held in siloed systems. There was no agreed process for escalating exceptions, managing non-compliance, or producing consolidated reporting for oversight bodies. The absence of a defined operating model meant that compliance enforcement was reactive, inconsistent, and difficult to defend.
KONVRG led the design of a comprehensive operating model that defined the roles, responsibilities, information flows, and governance structures required to make the compliance environment function effectively. We mapped the full compliance value chain — from regulated entity submission through to enforcement action — and identified the specific process gaps, accountability weaknesses, and data quality problems that needed to be addressed. We designed governance forums, escalation pathways, decision rights, and reporting structures, and produced an implementation roadmap with clearly sequenced workstreams and defined ownership.
The client had, for the first time, a documented and agreed operating model for its compliance function. Roles were clear. Escalation paths were defined. Reporting structures were in place. The operating model provided the institutional foundation needed to begin modernising the underlying technology environment with confidence — knowing that the governance and process architecture was sound before digital tools were introduced.
